Today Taylor is five weeks old! I weighed her this morning and I can't believe it, but she weighs 10 pounds. She just doesn't seem that big to me, especially since she is still wearing newborn clothing. She is getting very strong and really lifting her head up. This has been a quiet week. We haven't done too much. She did get to stay with her Daddy unsupervised for about 45 minutes and he didn't freak out too much! Just one frantic phone call. Taylor and I are planning our first road trip to Waco to meet the rest of her family there. Details next week.

One month update
Today Taylor turned 4 weeks old ( & I turned 28!). We have had a few busy days this past week. Taylor got to me her Uncle John & Aunt Ann who came all the way from Baton Rouge! Taylor went to her first birthday party at the neighbors down the street on Saturday - no cake and ice cream for her though. She also went to church for the first time and was a wonderful baby - we just had to take a small snack break during the sermon! Today she got to see her Grandpa, great Grandma and meet her great Aunt Susie. She is growing very strong and is holding her up frequently for very brief periods of time. She looks around when she is awake and I just know she will be smart!

3 Week Update
Today Taylor is 3 weeks old! She is growing and changing everyday. She now weighs 8 1/2 pounds (we like to eat often!) and is very healthy. This past week, she had her Grammy Spice (my Mom), Granny Susu (Robert's mom) and her great grandmother come to visit. We still spend most of our days eating, sleeping and snuggling with Mommy. Its a pretty good life for her!

One week update
Yesterday, Taylor turned one week old! She spent the day at home with her mommy and Granny SuSu. Today, she went for her first doctor's visit. She has gained weight and is now 7 lbs. 3 oz. She has not grown any longer. The doctor said she was perfect and we don't have to go back until May for our first shots. In the afternoon, Taylor had a visit from her great Granny Ruth and Walt. We also went on our first stroller ride down the street to see the neighbors. Taylor slept through that so she won't remember later, but we have pictures!
