9 week update

This week has been quiet. We got to visit Taylor's grandpa, great grandma and great aunt on Sunday in Kerrville. On Memorial day, we got together for a cook out with the Sculls and Peters. Taylor had fun playing with Emma and Elizabeth. She is really growing and is getting very good at moving her arms and legs. She is talking/cooing more also. She will even look toward my voice now when we're playing and smile.

2 Month update

I can't hardly believe it, but Taylor is already 2 months old this week! She is so very active - really moving her arm and legs. We've had a very busy past week. Last Friday, Taylor got to go on her very first shopping trip to the mall. Several people stopped to look at her and tell her what a pretty baby she is. She was very good, of course. On Saturday, she went to her first parade and birthday party. We went to the Bluebonnet Festival parade in LaVernia and Taylor was wide awake and watched the entire parade. Then we went over the the Scull's for Emma's first birthday party, but only Mommy got birthday cake. On Sunday, we all went to Houston for her second cousin Christen's wedding. Again, Taylor stayed awake pretty much the entire time and loved getting to meet all of her Houston family. On Tuesday, we went to the doctor for her two month check up. Taylor weighs 11 pounds 2 ounces and is 30 inches long! The doctor said she is right in the middle of normal and looked great. I already knew she was perfect. She got her first shots and didn't even cry too much. We hope to stay home and take it easy this weekend!

7 week update

We had our first Mother's Day together. We went to church and then over to Seguin for lunch to Granny Susu, Grandpa Tommy, great Granny Ruth and Walt. We had a big day and enjoyed all the attention. On Tuesday, Granny Susu came over and helped put the finishing touches in Taylor's room. She has one of a kind pink & white polka dot letters that her Grammy Spice made her and new curtains. Everything looks wonderful!

6 week update

Taylor and I have been very busy this past week. Last Thursday, we went on a road trip to Waco to meet the rest of the family. We did a lot while we were in Waco, including going to our very first wedding which her Aunt Michelle was in. Taylor got to meet her great aunts, uncles and one cousin. She also had a good time visiting with her Grammy Spice. On the way home, we stopped in Seguin and she got to meet some of her future playmates from the Scull clan. Daddy missed us very much and was glad we were home. As you can see in the pictures, Taylor is growing like a weed!
