Baby's 1st Halloween

Taylor has had a very busy first Halloween. On Wednesday, she went to a carnival at the Heights (a retirement center) down the road. We saw Meghan Johnson, a new SLP that I supervise. Taylor got her very first balloon and some candy for Daddy. On Friday, we went trick-or-treating with some kids from our neighborhood: Cheyenne, Jenah, Jonathan and Meghan. We had a lot of fun, but had to come home early because we were wore out! What a busy day!

Playing

Taylor is so close to crawling. She pushes up on her arms and scoots her bottom backwards. She still rolls all over and likes to sit propped up so she can see everything. Its hard work being a busy baby.

Getting Ready for Halloween

Uncle John and Aunt Anne sent us some Halloween gifts. We are really enjoying all of them, especially our monster book!

I'll Drink to That!

Taylor is now drinking from a sippy cup! At first, she just chewed on the top, but now she has figured out that there is something cold and wet inside. She has a lot of fun dribbling water all over herself and throwing her cup on the floor.

Oh Rubber Ducky

Taylor is now able to sit up in the bathtub and she has all sorts of fun trying to keep hold of her toys. She chases them around the water. It is so funny when they just fly out of her hands.

Taylor's First Baseball Game

Great Uncle Richard, Aunt Vicky and cousin Jeff were in San Antonio on Sunday. Jeff was playing baseball at Mission Stadium so Taylor and I drove up for her first baseball game. She was very good, but did not watch too much action. We went to Mi Tierra's for lunch afterward and she was fascinated by all the pinatas on the ceiling. I could just see her thinking, "If only I could reach a little higher..."

The Peanut Festival

Taylor and her Mommy went to visit the Sculls on Saturday. Lizzy and Emma were so happy to have Taylor come to play - they even shared some of their toys for minutes at a time! Aunt Karen, Lizzy, Emma, Taylor and I all loaded up to see the Peanut Festival. Unfortunately it was not one of their better years, so we walked around once to see everything and then headed back home. It was worth the trip for our play date though!

What's Cookin Good Lookin?

Taylor has been introduced to her first kitchen utensil- a wooden spoon! So far it has been big hit.

My Smart Baby

Taylor will definetly be smart when she grows up! She already watches Wheel of Fortune with Mommy and loves her books, especially when she can get them into her mouth. She is such a roly poly. I can't hardly leave her on the floor to go to the kitchen because she rolls under the coffee table! I don't know what I'm going to do when she starts crawling. Maybe I can keep her distracted by her toes!

Messy Marvin!

Taylor has been introduced to biter biscuits. She absolutely loves them, but what a mess!
